Customer Feedback

The whole process has been brilliantly managed and delivered, Charlie listened carefully to our plans, needs and ideas and then he and his team created a design that suited us perfectly. It all ran smoothly from plan to install, any questions, worries or concerns were answered and resolved quickly. We got exactly what we asked for. Thank you

Assistant Headteacher

Don’t just take our word for it; read below the wonderful case study received from the Assistant Headteacher at James Rennie School in Cumbria:

James Rennie School is a special needs school for pupils aged 3-19. We had lots of outdoor space but no playground equipment that was inclusive for all pupils. We wanted to create a space that all pupils could play alongside each other.

The inclusive playground fundraising was set up using a Just Giving page where staff, parents, grandparents and friends of James Rennie could contribute. This was supported by the PTFA organising fundraising events to contribute towards the total cost. Over the five years we have fundraised, staff have contributed by doing many events, parents have raised huge amounts of money by supporting events and holding them themselves. Also, the small contributions from people in the local community have all helped us reach our total.

As a school we looked at several providers before we chose Fawns. The Autism Academy in Workington is part of our trust and they had recently had a playground installed by Fawns and said how well the project had gone.

The inclusive playground has transformed the outdoor space, pupils now have equipment that they can play on alongside their peers, they are able to access play equipment regardless of their physical needs.

Pupils are able to join in playtimes with peers, they are no longer sitting in wheelchairs unable to access equipment. They are able to have the same opportunities and playtime sensations as other pupils.
