On Friday 21st October 2022, two of our playground experts attended the Bishop Konstant Catholic Academy Trust 10 Years Celebration in West Yorkshire. That’s right, our experts went to Featherstone! Craig and Charlie were there to meet, greet and assist anyone who was looking for a bit of playground advice. Between 600-700 people were there, so they certainly had their work cut out for them!
Set Up
After getting there at 7 o clock, (yes, the rest of us were absolutely still in bed!), they set up their table. They had copies of our brochures, samples and lots of our famous Fawnus pens!
We think they definitely looked very chipper for 7:00am!
Expertise
The guys spent the day chatting with people about their outdoor spaces. Our mission is to create inspirational outdoor spaces in every playground possible in the UK! We very much believe that children learn through play. The right playground isn’t only fun, but it’s functional too. Our playgrounds can help build core strength, improve hand/eye coordination, team work skills and so many more! And our experts are always on hand to help achieve those goals in a great playground.
First things first, what did they ask? (After asking their names of course!); the questions usually begin with something along the lines of, “what would you like your playground to bring to your school?”. Some want a fun place for children to play and get some exercise. Others want something that’s a little more challenging and will encourage their children to think outside the box a little bit. But what about the equipment itself? Well, some schools already know exactly what they want. Trim trails, castles, outdoor fitness equipment or something our ever popular pick up sticks range!
But some? They wouldn’t even know where to start. And that’s okay! That is exactly why we are here to help! Be it an initial phone call with one of our friendly members of staff, or our playground experts come to you for an on-site consultation. We’re there every step of the way and beyond!
