The last exhibition for 2022 required an early start for some, a last minute dash the day before for others!
But why? For The Education People Show of course! We were exhibiting at the Kent Event Centre on Thursday 10th November 2022 and boy was the early start (and getting stuck on the M25!) worth it.
Neil decided to get to Kent the night before because of ongoing delays that had been plaguing the M25 that week. Which was a great idea because Carla got stuck for over an hour! He was prepped and ready (and one coffee down) by the time Carla arrived. He had plenty of brochures, leaflets, samples and of course, lots of Fawna pens on the table! (spoiler alert, we had none left by the end of the day!)
Neil and Carla spent the day talking to lots of people; head teachers, assistant head’s, school business managers, senior teachers and many more!
The great thing about school playgrounds is every single one is different and every school wants something different. Which is an exciting prospect! For some schools, they had already decided what they wanted (we wish we were that good at making decisions!) so we were able to book looks of FREE site visits, but for some schools they just didn’t know where to start, which is never a bad thing! And that’s why we’re here. To help, advise and guide. We talked about our Trim trails, castles, outdoor fitness equipment, as well as our award winning pick up sticks range and so many more!
Even for the longer term projects, we were able to help! We had some uncertain visitors come up to us, but every single one walked away with a smile on their face. And that is part of the reason that we do what we do. The ultimate goal is to get a smile on all the children’s faces too!
This might be our last exhibition for 2022, but we’ve got lots planned for 2023! Make sure you keep an eye on our Twitter, Facebook and Instagram pages (as well as here of course!) for the latest news!
