As a relatively newly built school, Beardall Fields Primary, identified several areas of their outdoor space that they could develop to ensure that the outside matched the inside. We came up with a phased design plan which the school could implement as and when the funds became available.
The initial focus was on a large area of grass that was situated in the middle of their play space. We installed a large comprehensive trim trail that benefitted and challenged children of all ages and abilities. We installed our luxurious Duralawn Diamond safety surfacing to ensure that the area could be accessed all year round. The first phase was completed with the addition of a double sided bouldering wall and numerous Thermoplastic line markings (including a mile a day pathway) which really lifted the large areas of black tarmac.
A few months later the school progressed phase 2 of the plan and we installed our large Pick Up Sticks 8 climbing frame. This offered a different physical challenge and allowed more open ended play to the more adventurous children.
We are especially proud of the work we have completed at Beardall Fields Primary School and hope that they agree with us that their playgrounds now befit the look of the school.
