Fawns completed the installation of this impressive scheme in the summer of 2018. The challenge of this brief was to meet the school’s expectation of installing an impressive and challenging play feature into what was a relatively narrow space. From the start the school were particularly keen on our Pinta Columbus Galleon and expressed their desire for this or something similar. It was clear that our standard unit would be too wide to fit into the available space. However as we are the manufacturers of the product we were able to redesign the ship by making a couple of clever modifications with very little fuss.
As such we were able to deliver a bespoke Galleon that exceeded the school’s expectations without compromising on either its presence or play value. By using our Durabond bonded rubber mulch, we were able to ensure that the school had a great durable all weather safety surface that proved very cost effective, allowing them to utilise more of their funds on their fabulous bespoke.
