St George’s CE Primary School

Increasing the school outdoor play provision in all weathers was their main objective when St George’s CE Primary School in Barrow-in-Furness asked us to design some bespoke sheltered play areas.

The school needed an innovative solution not least because of the topography and the listed building status of some of the school.

We were really pleased with the results as were the school as you can see from the pictures the structures blend in with the elegant architecture, are functional and allow plenty of free space for the children to play all year round.
