Rotherwick Rec ground

Community spirit and real team effort were required on the idyllic village of Rotherwick when residents wanted to over haul their playground facilities.

Situated in leafy Hampshire the existing play area was over 30 years old, an influx of parents with young children had increased demand for quality play provision.

Considerable fundraising and plenty of grant application form filling over the course of 18 months eventually bore  fruit.

Swings, multi play towers and the open ended pick up sticks climbing structure were installed along with health trek equipment for adults to use as part of outdoor fitness training. Here we got to see some of the resident making use of the facilities.
