We first worked with Highwood Primary School in Berkshire back in 2005. This is why we were delighted to get involved with a substantial project they had for developing their EYFS space. Due to an increase in form entry, the school needed to utilise a previously underused area. They wanted to update their main play and outdoor learning area for use during the summer holidays. Their objective was to create a space that would encourage the children to nurture their skills as effective learners. They would encourage this through play and with perseverance, teamwork, curiosity, creativity, reflection and independence. The new area looked magical on the spring morning we spent with the children, full of colour and complete transformation from how the space looked previously.
