Project Descriptions
Hazel Wood Infant School in Totton, Hampshire, where looking to develop their outdoor space with an emphasis on increasing the physical play aspect of their play areas, encouraging exercise and improving upper body strength in particular. As part of their vision statement the school seek to nurture independent, resilient pupils and as part of this, a challenging and stimulating play space was seen as important to meeting these aims.
The school had some funds available after some committed fundraising by the parents, but we also worked with the school to source external funding including a successful bid to the Tesco Bags of Help scheme.
