Colebourne School

Meeting Fawns at the 2010 Education Show in Birmingham, facilities manager Sam Hughes maintained contact until she was ready to begin planning. Fawns were given a brief for age appropriate climbing equipment in the early years, key stage 1 and 2 playgrounds along with roadways for the early years and key stage 1 play areas. Ensuring the equipment required minimum maintenance on an annual basis.

Colebourne School were keen to see a progression in the challenge of the chosen play equipment offered for each age group. They were happy to promote managed risk with a supervised environment.

Fawns installed a roadway with arch bridge and marco polo 900mm within the early years area. Roadway with play scene panels, a double deck Hollywood tower 900mm plus low level trim trail in the key stage 1 play area and a Hillary unit and climbing wall in the key stage 2 play area. Each installation was into tarmac with coloured wetpour surfacing.

Overall Fawns built a great relationship with the school. Facilities Manager Sam was happy with every element of Fawns products and services and would be very happy to recommend Fawns to other schools.
