Clinton Primary School

Warwickshire
Suitability:
KS2
Project Descriptions

Clinton Primary School in Kenilworth, Warwickshire, wanted to improve their play provision for their KS2 students and asked us to get involved. They were keen to offer equipment that could provide plenty of challenge, open ended play opportunities and could be incorporated into PE lessons.
Using monies raised by a very dedicated team of parents, as well as some of their Sports Premium funding, they created a sports challenge area and Physical Challenge zone comprised of a bespoke fitness trail and one of our Pick Up Sticks multi-play units.
Using Durabond safer surfacing they ensured that the equipment would be available all year round, acting as an extension to their playground. One innovation they showed us was how they use our display posts as a child led construction area, creating rope swings and traverse rope walks themselves, with the ability to change their configuration each time.
