Belmont CE Junior School

After intensive PTA funding, including Christmas and Summer fairs, Belmont Junior School in Durham wanted to add to their trim trail which Playtime by Fawns had installed in 2011. They wanted something a little more challenging, so after consultation with the student council we recommended a scramble net log climber unit and horizontal monkey bars. The trail is very popular amongst the pupils so a rota is used to ensure every class gets a fair chance to challenge themselves on it, with extra plays going to the classes with the best attendance records for the week.

The children love the new pieces, with plans to raise more funds to add extra elements. The scramble net becomes a social area with a difference, with pupils hanging out to chat whenever they get the chance.
