Bellefield CE Primary & Nursery School

Having worked with Playtime by Fawns during 2012  to add Water Play and Activity zones to their early years area, Bellefield School in Trowbridge, approached us when the school wanted to add some shade and shelter to the playground.

After consultation meetings with Paul Hales, the area  consultant for Playtime by Fawns, the school chose one of our curved edge fixed umbrellas which offers both protection from the suns harmful UV rays and also shelter from the elements.

As the unit only has one post the space around the shade is kept free, allowing the children plenty of space to play  and run around. Kaye Bennett, the deputy head at school, was really pleased with the end result. “The umbrella was installed within school time with the minimum of fuss and disruption and the installation team were great. The shade has really enhanced the area and helps make sure the children get to play out in all weathers.”
