Barmston Village Primary School

With a brief to transform a little used space at this Village school in the North East, Fawns set about designing an open ended play space which would allow the early years classes to get outside as much as possible.

After consultation with the school the area incorporated mounds, dens, den making props and plenty of creative spaces for drawing and painting.

Nursery teacher Erica Bright told us “it has just transformed the space, the children love it” when we visited the school, and they certainly seemed to be enjoying themselves.
