Children can climb up and over the top before making their way back down the other side, helping to develop gross motor skills, lower body strength, balance, coordination, and gripping and grasping abilities. From the elevated viewpoint, they gain a new perspective of their surroundings, enhancing their understanding of positional language and encouraging vocabulary such as over, under, beside, and beneath.
