Having heard about the wonderful play area we had created at another local school, The Willows Primary School in Newbury, Berkshire, asked Playtime by Fawns to help them design a new play space for their children that offered the Wow factor! With funds raised by a very dedicated PTA, the school where keen on creating an outdoor space that would improve both the physical and social skills of their pupils, promoting independence and confidence but crucially offer great fun in keeping with the schools’ mission statement.
Area Sales manager Paul Hales designed a playscape which facilitated all year round play utilising previously underused areas of the school site. The school are really pleased with the results, they especially like the decision making skills the Pick Up Sticks unit encourages.
