Having successfully bid for the ‘Awards for All’ grant, that’s available to schools on a yearly basis, St Gregory’s RC Primary School in Lydiate put the money to good use in an enhancement to the play area, working with Fawns to make use of an under utilised area of the school playground. The new play space comprises of role play equipment in the form of the nina, a takamaka and one of our pick up sticks units to offer challenging climbing opportunities and grip and grasps skills. The open ended nature of the equipment means that it is used by both reception classes and years 1 & 2.
