As one of the largest Primary settings in Hampshire, Copnor Primary School wanted to ensure their pupils had plenty of space and a variety of activities for break and lunchtime to maximise play opportunities.
Having cleared a number of areas previously underutilised, Paul Hales Area Sales Manager for Playtime by Fawns, worked with the school to create designs for a new play and sports space that would significantly increase both the variety of play available and offer a Multi-Use-Games-Area for use both as part of curriculum PE lessons and that could be used as part of free play.
With funding sourced from fundraising from the PTA, capital funds from the school and utilising the schools Primary Sports funding, the results have enabled the pupils to enjoy playtimes offering challenge, role play and plenty of space to exercise all year round.
