Safety and the Finishing Touches
In accordance with
current guidelines EN1176 and 1177, any play
equipment with a Free Fall Height of greater than 1.0m onto
Grass or 0.6m onto other hard surfaces, requires a safer surface.
It is prudent to install a wear strip even with equipment with
fall heights that are below those stated as this will help protect
your grounds and will also aid all year round use. We offer a
complete range of surfacing which we can match to your requirements
and budget. During our initial consultation we will talk you through
the options, discussing their relative pro’s and con’s, thus helping
you make the right decision depending on the site and equipment.
|
 |
|
In addition
we can offer a range of fencing options to match your budget
and requirements. You will find a selection shown on the
following pages, but we can and do supply any type of
fencing available. It is increasingly common practice to
divide off play areas for the foundation stage age group,
and we have considerable experience installing such fencing
in both schools and nursery environments.
