Courtmaster System Two - Specification

We have installed quite a range of MUGA's from various manufacturers over the last few years, and the PPL Courtmaster II system is by far the easiest to install and best quality system we have installed to date.

All PPL Ltd multi use games areas are designed to meet the requirements of Product Assessment Specification 30 (PAS 30). All structural steel components are made from mild steel conforming to BS EN 10210 and BS EN 10219 respectively.

Metal Treatment
All posts, panels and gates etc are galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461.An architectural quality BS6497, polyester powder coatings follows, itself reaching a thickness of between 70–100 microns. The result is a smooth, attractive, hard wearing and weather resistant finish.

Infill Panels
Flow forge – vertical flat bar (25mm x 3mm) and horizontal centre rod ø6mm form a perfect anti-climb panel. Grid size 80mm x 60mm x 25mm wide. All panels are completed with a 25mm square hollow section surround providing an easy to grip finish. Flow forge panels are available in 1m and 2m lengths x 1m and 2m high. Panels can also be curved for the entrances or for the corners of the ball court.

Posts/Crossbars
ø114.3mm x 3.6mm wall thickness with fully welded domed tops.

Triangular Goal
Side Panels 19mm coloured polyethylene U.V. resistant.

Back Boards
19mm black and white polyethylene U.V. resistant. Manufactured to PAS 30 requirements.

Fixings
All zinc plated bolts & nyloc nuts are protected with a polypropylene tamper resistant cover cap providing a high level of security. Connections are made with 5mm spacer preventing metal on metal contact thus reducing ball impact, noise and vibration.

Installation
To assist ease of installation and aesthetics:- All lugs on the posts are slotted vertically to ease installation whilst also accommodating slight variation in site levels. Lugs on the infill panels are slotted horizontally to allow panels to be aligned easily for aesthetic purposes.
