With children of different ages and abilities teachers at The Grange School were looking for play equipment which would both challenge and provide a safe play environment. The Bedfordshire based school caters for children between the ages of 5 and 16 who have moderate learning difficulties.
After seeing Fawns at the Education Show in Birmingham the school invited a Play Consultant in to discuss their requirements. With recommendations from Fawns’ Play Consultant the Grange School decided upon a combination of low and high level timber trim trail equipment. Since it’s installation the Grange School has reported that the equipment had been utilised for a multitude of activities – and not just for the children – with staff using it for their training day! Case Studies Bernie McGee from The Grange School, commented, “With such a wide range of ages and abilities to take into consideration we needed play equipment which was not only safe, but challenging. The Trim Trail has been the perfect solution for us and it has proved extremely versatile. The children have developed their team working skills and it has helped to improve their confidence.” “We were very impressed with the level of service we received from Fawns and the efficiency of the delivery and installation of the equipment, they left no mess! We would definitely recommend them.”
