Signhills Academy
Project Descriptions
During the summer holidays Signhills Academy underwent a comprehensive overhaul of their outdoor play provision for their reception aged children. New playground surface were laid down with road markings which the trike using children use with great attention to lane discipline and other road awareness skills.
The play space was extended to incorporate one of our young explore units which challenges the children in terms of climbing, swinging and sliding. This was installed onto our artificial grass duralawn, and by virtue of the shade sail the children get to play on the unit in all weather with protection from the sun and rain.
The final piece of the jigsaw was the installation of mushroom seating in the schools storytelling area.
