King’s House Junior School

Surrey
Suitability:
KS2
Project Descriptions

When the pupils of King’s House Independent School, in Richmond, Surrey, returned from their summer break they discovered an out of this world transformation in their playground.
Over the holidays our team had been busy installing the first Space Station multi-play unit, a variation on an oil rig design we had created for a setting in Scotland earlier in the year. The play area, used by key stage one and reception children features our Duralawn artificial grass with space theme graphics, a roadway, and creative play area.
On a cold and frosty morning, we went back to the school to see the budding astronauts fly around the new equipment, as if in zero gravity!
