As part of a significant rebuilding and expansion programme, Fredrick Bird School in Coventry needed something turned around pretty quickly when they called us and asked us to help in June 2013. Building work in one part of the school was due to finish over the summer, and the play area needed to be ready for the children arriving back into school in September, but the window was tight. The area manager met with the business manager at the school, and together they put together designs which would offer an all year round play space utilising our Duralawn artificial grass and some challenging trim trail equipment. We worked with the main contractor who carried out the ground works, and then pulled out all the stops to get the area ready for the new school year. Not only does the area offer plenty of play value, but the space doubles up as a chill out zone where the children can relax on the grass enjoying the break!
