Forest Park Primary School, Stoke-On-Trent
A Quick Turn Around To Make Playtime Fun & Challenging!
After growing up with an activity centre during their early years, children at Forest Park Primary School were now on the look out for something a bit more challenging.
The original play equipment at the Staffordshire school was ideal for younger pupils but a more stimulating way to spend their break times was needed for the older children.
So, with funds already in place, the school council set about pulling a wish list of play equipment together and teachers invited four play companies in to quote for the job.
The school were impressed with the range of equipment offered by Fawns and the Play Consultant's ability to interpret their plans into a final design. Forest Park Primary were also keen to install the equipment as soon as possible and Fawns clinched the deal by turning their plans into a reality with speed and efficiency.
Break times at the school are now a fun event with a Climbing Wall and a challenging Trim Trail and to ensure that each child gets a fair turn on the equipment rotas have been drawn up by the school council.
Caretaker John Baggily commented; 'We developed an excellent working relationship with Craig Longworth, the Fawns Play Consultant, who was able to turn the children's wish list into a reality. Since the play equipment was installed during term time the children were watching the work being carried out during their break times, however during this times we found the Fawns contractors to be excellent in both their appearance and manner around the children.'
"We were impressed with the way the Play Consultant from Fawns listened to our requests and the quick turn around we received was first class!"
